Service Information
Mark R. Wendlandt, age 33, of Fairfax, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018, at his home in Fairfax.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 10, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson with interment in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. all at the church.
Arrangements are with the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson.
Obituary
Mark Ronald Wendlandt, son of Ronald and Pam (Merkins) Wendlandt was born on May 20, 1985, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was baptized as an infant at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. Mark received most of his education in Hutchinson.
Mark enjoyed the outdoors and when he was younger, racing go-carts with his dad. He also enjoyed watching car racing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, sitting around a campfire, and spending time with his daughter.
A new beginning started for Mark on December 16, 2011, when he became a dad to his beautiful little girl Alexis Chance Wendlandt. She was the spice of his life. He resided in Fairfax, Minnesota for the last thirteen years.
Mark held many jobs through his life, most recently with Dairy Farmers of America in Winthrop, Minnesota.
Mark is survived by his:
Daughter, Alexis Wendlandt;
Mother, Pam Wendlandt of Fairfax, MN;
Father and Step-Mother, Ronald and Wanda Wendlandt of Hutchinson, MN;
Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mark is preceded in death by his: Brother, Bradley Wendlandt; Grandparents, Ray and Doris Merkins, and Kathy and Orlin Wendlandt; Second Dad, Steve Nemec; Parents, George and Irene Nemec.
