My most sincere heart felt sympathy to Adam, Erin, and Lowell. Marty was my friend, riding companion, and trusted member of the Litchfield Church of God when I pastored there. He had a rough exterior, but to me, he was a Teddy Bear in side. You didn’t have to guess Marty’s opinion. He spoke his mind and it didn’t matter if you agreed with him; he’d simply respond: “what ever”. Marty was a dedicated Christian and I was honored to have him in my flock. I will miss him, but I know I will see him again because he was a child of God who knew Jesus as his Savior and believed in the Biblical hope of a future literal resurrection when Jesus returns. 1 Thess. 4:16-17
