Mary Katherine Fahey, age 68, of Sacramento, California, formerly of Shakopee, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, at her home in Sacramento, California.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 18, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at Church of the Ascension in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, with interment following in the church cemetery.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are required.

Obituary
Mary Katherine Fahey was born on September 14, 1951, in Shakopee, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Gregory and Elizabeth (Walzak) Fahey. Mary was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith both at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Shakopee, Minnesota. She received her grade school education in Shakopee and then graduated from Reseda High School in Reseda, California.
Mary made her home in Shakopee, Minnesota; Los Angeles, California; Virginia; Washington; and then lived with her brother in Sacramento, California. She worked in food service and was a home care provider. Mary enjoyed baking and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, at her brother’s home in Sacramento, California, at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 25 days.

Mary is preceded in death by her Parents, Gregory and Elizabeth Fahey; Infant Sister, Maureen Fahey; Brothers, John Fahey, Patrick Fahey.
