Service Information
Nancy Magnuson, age 71, of Hutchinson, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with interment in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Gaylord, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and will continue on Thursday, June 1 from 8:00 – 9:00 A.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Chapel in Hutchinson and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Obituary
Nancy Emilie Magnuson was born on February 19, 1946, in Gaylord, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Reynold and Emilie (Herber) Severin. Nancy was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth both at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. She received her education in Gaylord, and was a graduate of the Gaylord High School Class of 1964. Nancy furthered her education at the Mankato Business School.
On June 6, 1970, Nancy was united in marriage to Gary Magnuson at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. Nancy and Gary resided in Hutchinson, Minnesota. They shared 46 years of marriage together.
Nancy worked as a Dietary Aid at Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson.
Nancy enjoyed puzzle books, watching game shows, and listening to 50’s music. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and going bowling. Nancy loved her many pet dogs. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy passed away unexpectedly at the age of 71 years. She was admitted to the Hutchinson Health Hospital on Thursday, May 25, 2017 and was transferred to St Cloud Hospital where she passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017.

Many Nieces and Nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her Parents, Reynold and Emilie Severin.
