Matthew David Marshall II, age 37, of Crystal, Minnesota, formerly of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at Fairview St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the home of Josh & Tiffany Simrell, 202 - 20th Street West, Glencoe, MN 55336.  All are welcome.

Obituary

Matthew David Marshall II was born on May 27, 1983, in Layton, Utah. He was the son of Matthew David Marshall and Jean Ann (Barnard) Aumer. Matthew’s life was blessed with 5 children, Brice, Alyssia, Lilly, Lindsay, and Hailee.

Matt treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his children who meant the world to him. He cherished and adored his many nieces and nephews, and had a great impact on their lives. He loved his family and friends beyond words. Matt had a smile that would light up the room, no matter the circumstances. Matt enjoyed many sports, particularly football and baseball. He had an undeniable love and passion for the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed the time he spent fishing with his family when he could. Matt was a devoted Son, Brother, Father, Uncle, and Friend like no other. When Matt said he loved you, he meant it with his whole heart and soul.

Matt passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at Fairview St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota, at the age of 37 years, 8 months, and 23 days. He will be deeply missed by all. Blessed be his memory.

Christopher Marshall,
Joshua Simrell and his wife, Tiffany,
Christopher Barnard,
Jessica Wright and her husband, Branden;
Grandparents;
Many Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and Friends.

Matt was preceded in death by his Father, Matthew Marshall; Daughter, Hailee Madison Ann Marshall; Step Father, Daniel Aumer; Grandparents.
