Obituary
Nevaeh Cecelia Kotila was born on May 21, 2003, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Amanda Kotila. She lived with her Maternal Grandmother, Michelle Kaczmarek and her Step-up Father, Derek Lentz from a young age. Nevaeh was baptized as an infant and received her education at the Buffalo Lake/Hector/Stewart school district where she graduated in 2021.
Nevaeh enjoyed attending sporting events at the school and you could always hear her cheer on the teams even if they weren’t her team. She also enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics.
Nevaeh’s life was destined to end at an early age due to the challenges that she was born with but that Never stopped her from enjoying life to the fullest. Nevaeh was a fighter and no matter what life threw at her, she never let the negatives bring down the positives. She was the strongest, bravest, and most loving young lady that any family could ever ask for. Even throughout her challenges, she would always make you smile.
Nevaeh enjoyed camping, fishing, going to demolition derbies, 4-wheeler rides, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite things to do were playing cards, listening to music, and the ultimate favorite was going on car rides to visit her two Angels, Uncle Dean Lentz and Cousin Ashtan Suess. Nevaeh loved life and everyone she encountered. You could not walk past Nevaeh without getting a hug from her. She had the biggest heart and wanted everyone she met to feel loved. Nevaeh also enjoyed riding her hand pedal bike and going for walks in her chair.
Nevaeh’s life journey ended on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 21 years, old surrounded by family and friends.
Nevaeh may be gone from our sight, but she will forever be in our hearts. BLESSED BE HER MEMORY.
