Norma J. Kable

Obituary

Norma Jean Kable was born on January 6, 1937, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. She was the daughter of George and Edna (Baker) Kable. Norma was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Jackson, Minnesota. She received her education in Jackson, and was a graduate of the Jackson High School Class of 1958. Norma furthered her education at the College of St. Teresa in Winona, Minnesota, receiving her teaching degree.

Norma resided in Hutchinson, Minnesota, and later moved to Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. She raised and was like a mother to her niece, Catherine.

Norma was employed as a teacher and also provided daycare for family and friends. She was later employed in production at Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing (3M) in New Ulm, Minnesota. Norma retired on February 1, 1992.

Norma enjoyed reading and attending Bible Studies. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Norma passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Buffalo Lake Health Care in Buffalo Lake, at the age of 88 years.

Brother, Gordon Kable and his wife, Sharon of Litchfield, MN;
Sister, Sandra Wolfswinkel and her husband, Ken of Tennessee;
Sister-in-law, Connie Kable;
Many Nieces and Nephews and other relatives and friends.

Norma is preceded in death by her Parents, George and Edna Kable; Brothers, Roger Kable and Daniel Kable.
