Service Information

Norman A. Stresemann, age 80, of Sterling, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Private Family Graveside Service will be held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery in Penn Township, Minnesota.

Obituary

Norman August Stresemann was born on December 8, 1940, in New Ulm, Minnesota. He was the son of Raymond and Edna (Alsleben) Stresemann. Norman was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth. He received his education in Brownton and was a graduate with the Brownton High School class of 1958.

On February 21, 1960, Norman was united in marriage to JoAnne Koelln at Little Brown Church in Iowa. This marriage was blessed with two children, Michael and Tarri. Norman and Joanne resided in Sterling, Illinois. They shared 60 years of marriage.

Norman was employed as a linesman in the electrical field.

Norman passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at CGH Medical Center, at the age of 80 years. Blessed be his memory.

Norman is survived by his:
Wife, JoAnne Stresemann of Sterling, IL;
Children, Michael Stresemann and his wife, Nora, of South Carolina,
Tarri Ris of Stickney, IL;
Grandchildren, Norman Stresemann and his wife, Caroline, Kyle Stresemann, Andrew Stresemann, Jennifer Cinquegrani and her husband, Michael, Justina Brownell, and Brian Ris;
Great-Grandchildren, Natalie Cinquegrani, Robert Cinquegrani, Allie Brownell, Kaylie Brownell;
Sister, Audrey Hormann and her husband, David;
Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Norman is preceded in death by his Parents, Raymond and Edna Stresemann.
