Oliver E. Kramer

Obituary

Oliver Edward Kramer was born on June 10, 1931, in New Ulm, Minnesota. He was the son of John and Hertha (Fenske) Kramer. Oliver was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon, Minnesota. He received his education in Gibbon and was a graduate of the Gibbon High School.

On June 22, 1957, Oliver was united in marriage to Betty Bode at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. This marriage was blessed with seven children Gary, Laurie, Gerald, Dale, laurel, Janal, and Kevin. Oliver and Betty resided and farmed in Gibbon, and later retired in the Cosmos, Minnesota, area. They shared 66 years of marriage until Betty passed away on November 3, 2023.

Oliver was a lifelong farmer.

Oliver enjoyed gardening, playing the accordion, playing cards and listening old-time music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Oliver passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home in Cosmos, at the age of 94 years.

Brother-in-law, Roger Bode and his wife Shirley of New Ulm, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.

Oliver is preceded in death by his Parents, John and Hertha Kramer; Wife, Betty Kramer; Sons, Gary Kramer, Kevin (in infancy); Daughter, Janal (in infancy).
