I knew Orville through his son, my friend John and his wife Kathy. I am sorry for the loss to his family that will miss him so very much. I am excited for Orville to be in paradise with his Savior, Jesus Christ! To experience his new home built specifically for him by the master architect. To be filled with our fathers love and experience all that heaven provides. No more pain, no more sorrow, only love, peace, and joy. Welcome home Orville, welcome home.

Our condolences to the family of Orville. He has left a legacy to be cherished and inspired by the church, family and community. We will always remember his friendly greetings and conversations of care and concern AND his memorable voice as he would read scripture for church. (Especially when he would read as the voice of God.)
Sending prayers of love, peace and comfort to Phyllis and the family as Orville journeys to his heavenly home.

Orville was a longtime member at GCC. Always very kind and courteous to all patrons and enjoyed a “small tap” after 9 holes of golf.
Orville was well known around the area and his legacy will live on through his sons and grandchildren, who are extraordinary humans. God Bless!

Phyllis, Joel, John, and Jason, my deepest sympathy to each of you. Seeing Orville’s name in the paper unleashed a flood of childhood memories. It didn’t matter the time of day or night, or what Orville was doing, he always made time to ask how things were going. He was always present at every athletic event supporting his sons and their friends. There was something comforting knowing that Orville was on the school board. Orville, although I’m sure he never knew, was one of the individuals whom I identified as a role model. May you never grow tired of sharing his story, and may the peace that only Christ can give rest upon you and your families.
