Patrick “Pat” Krueger, age 54, of Norwood Young America, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at his parent’s home in Norwood Young America, Minnesota.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, with interment following at the Mau Cemetery in Norwood Young America, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2019, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, and will continue one hour prior the service at the church on Saturday
Obituary
Patrick “Pat” Wayne Krueger was born on April 14, 1965, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the son of Roger Owen and Rosalie Marie (Schmig) Krueger. Patrick was baptized as an infant on May 2, 1965, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Excelsior, Minnesota, and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth on April 8, 1979, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota. His confirmation verse was Matthew 6:33. Patrick received his elementary education at St. John’s Lutheran School in Norwood Young America and his high school education in Mayer, Minnesota. He graduated with the Mayer Lutheran High School Class of 1983. He furthered his education by attending Hennepin Technical College and Control Data.
Patrick made his home in Willmar, Minnesota; Florida; Ohio; and Norwood Young America, Minnesota. He worked as a computer IT manager at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minnesota, and Surmonix Medical Equipment in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Patrick enjoyed hanging out with his friends at the Pour House, pull tabs and watching the Wheel of Fortune. He loved the time spent with family and friends.
Patrick passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at his parent’s home in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, at the age of 54 years and 7 days.

I am very so to have recently learned of Patrick’s passing from a mutual friend/colleague. We worked with Patrick in Ohio on two occasions, before and after his time spent in Florida. Patrick and I became good friends and shared a lot of time together. Unfortunately, we lost touch with each after his return to Minnesota. I’ve missed our friendship over the years. Rest easy my friend.
