Randy L. Rusch, age 65, of rural Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at his home in Mission, Texas.
Memorial Service will be Friday, January 30, 2026, 11:00 A.M., at Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Thursday, January 29, from 5:00-7:00 P.M., at Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Randy Rusch was born May 9, 1960, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Erwin and Lila Rusch. Randy was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith at Peach Lutheran Church in Cosmos, Minnesota.
Randy was united in marriage to Joanne Joecks in 1990 at Peace Lutheran Church. They then moved to Randy’s family farm in Cosmos and were blessed with their first child Cody Rusch. After their first child, they moved to Cedar Mills, Minnesota, and were blessed with their second child, Carly Rusch.
Randy was self-employed, a man of many traits, and spent many years riding motorcycles, camping, attending auctions, and taking countless road trips and vacations. In Randy’s early years he developed a passion for riding motorcycles. He enjoyed going to bike rallies and on trips with his many friends that he gained throughout his life. Later in life, Randy shared this passion with his children taking many bike trips with Cody and Carly throughout the years. Randy also enjoyed camping with family and friends. Spending many nights around a campfire. Randy purchased a home in Texas and enjoyed spending time by the beach and with his grandchildren.
Randy passed away on January 6, 2026, at his home in Texas at the age of 65 years old.
Randy will join his parents Erwin and Lila Rusch, and extended family.
Randy is survived by his family, Joanne, Cody, Carly and his grandchildren, Kenny Rusch and Coraline Springman. His sisters Marilyn Messner (Gary Messner), Carolyn Vollmer (Gary Vollmer), Jan Stockman (Jim Stockman), and Julie Nelson (Donald Nelson). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and god children.
