Obituary

Rebecca Lozano Gonzalez was born on April 22, 1934, in Round Rock, Texas. She was the daughter of Leonardo and Isabel (Guerrero) Lozano.

Rebecca and Cesario Gonzalez were united in marriage on October 6, 1958, and shared 62 years of marriage until Cesario passed away on July 20, 2021. Their marriage was blessed with 3 sons, Ruben Rosales, Blas and Jaime Gonzales. They resided in Lubbock, Texas, Worthington, Minnesota, Youngtown, Arizona, and moved to Hutchinson, Minnesota, in 2007, to be closer to their sons and family.

Rebecca worked at Campbells Soup Company in Worthington until she retired in 1983. After retiring, Rebecca and Cesario moved to Arizona.

Rebecca had many titles: wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, mom, mother-in-law, grandma, “gamma”, “wecka”, and “gma”. She was a fantastic cook and due to Alzheimer’s, her family has deeply missed her tamales, enchiladas, and baking. She was very crafty and enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, puzzles, word searches, reading, dancing, and was an avid hand stitched quilt maker.

Rebecca’s biggest joy in her life was spending time with her family, especially her boys and grandchildren.

Rebecca passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at her home in Hutchinson, at the age of 90 years.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her Parents, Leonardo and Isabel Lozano; Husband, Cesario Gonzalez; Son, Ruben Rosales; Grandsons, Levi Gonzales, Hayden Cogar; Brothers, Leonardo Lozano, Juan Lozano; and loved ones from both the Lozano and Gonzalez families.
