Obituary

Richard Troy Weseloh of Hutchinson, formerly of Cosmos, Minnesota, was born on January 13, 1981, in Willmar, Minnesota, to David and Karen Weseloh. He was baptized as an infant on April 5, 1981, and later confirmed in his faith as a youth on April 14, 1996, both at Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos. Richard was a proud Falcon, graduating from ACGC (Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City) in 1999.

After graduation, Richard worked for several businesses including American Time and Signal Company and ProWorks.

Richard was unfailingly optimistic, inquisitive and cheerful, considering any friend he made, a friend for life. He loved wrestling and playing football while in school and playing softball as a young adult. Richard loved to go fishing and celebrating his German heritage, including countless trips to New Ulm, Minnesota, to explore those roots. He appreciated old-time polka music and was particularly a fan of the country band, “Alabama.”

Richard passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Meeker Manor in Litchfield, Minnesota, at the age of 44 years.

Blessed be his memory.

Richard is survived by his:
Uncle, Harold Weseloh and his wife, Pat of Litchfield, MN;
Cousin, Beau Weseloh of Minneapolis, MN;
many other relatives and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his Father, David Weseloh; Grandparents, Harry and Marian Weseloh; Uncles, Ronald Weseloh, Allen Weseloh.
