Service Information
Robert J. Marconcini, age 74, of Hector, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 2:00 P.M., at Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hector, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held two hours prior to the service at the chapel.
Obituary
Robert (Bob) Joseph Marconcini was born on January 12, 1948, in San Francisco, California. He was the son of Nello and Adela (Arriaza) Marconcini. Robert was baptized as an infant at St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s in San Francisco, California. When he was three years old, his family moved to Petaluma, California where he was confirmed in his faith as a youth at St. Vincent’s in Petaluma. He received his education in St. Vincent Catholic School and was a graduate of the St. Vincent Catholic High School Class of 1966.
After High School, Bob began working at a shipyard in California. He later accepted a position with HTI in San Francisco which led him to move in 1978 to Hutchinson, Minnesota where he continued working for HTI. In 1981 Bob moved back to San Francisco to take over his father’s business of delivering poultry and eggs in the San Francisco area. In 1986, he came back to Minnesota and began working for Suttle in Hector, where he was employed for about 20 years and led him to his retirement in 2015. Following Bob’s retirement, he kept busy working park time for the Post Office and the IT department for ITCI.
Bob was involved with raising Bryan and Brandon while Jo raised Shawna, Ashley, and Kristen. Together they raised Bob’s children MacKenzie and Logan. Bob and Jo were married on April 6th, 2008 and their families united as one. They shared 13 years of marriage and resided in Hector, Minnesota.
Bob enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a handyman, working on cars, carpentry, and other tasks. He especially enjoyed hosting and cooking for his family get-togethers, and spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends.
Robert passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota, at the age of 74 years.

Many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his Parents, Nello and Adela Marconcini; Son, Bryan Marconcini.
