Rose Mary Kiecker was born on October 27, 1945, in Morris Minnesota. She was the daughter of Arthur and Adeline (Podratz) Pasche. Rose was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at Zion Lutheran Church in Hoffman, Minnesota. Rose graduated from Hoffman High School in 1963. She graduated from Concordia College, St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1967. After graduating, she was called to teach Grade 1 at Christ Lutheran Church and School in Murray, Utah.

In 1968 Rose's mother passed away and she returned to Hoffman to help her dad, brother, and sister. During that time she taught special education in the elementary school in Hoffman. The fall of 1971 Rose moved to Fairfax to teach special education in the elementary school.

On August 18, 1973, Rose was united in marriage to John Kiecker at St. John Lutheran Church. After their marriage the couple resided in Fairfax. They were blessed with two children, Katie and Holly. John and Rose shared 44 years of marriage.

Rose was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church and served the Ladies Aid as president. She also was a member of the choir, taught Sunday School, taught in the Jesus Cares ministry, and served on the Altar Guild.
