Rosemary Cuff

Obituary

Rosemary Leona Cuff was born on September 1, 1942, in New Ulm, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Otto and Lozina (Hahn) Clobes. Rosemary was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth, both at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. She received her education at St. Andrew’s Catholic School and a country school and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School.

On July 29, 1961, Rosemary was united in marriage to Gerald Cuff at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. This marriage was blessed with three children, Ruth, Duane and Brad. Rosemary and Jerry resided in the Fairfax, Minnesota area. She worked at numerous occupations with her family which included hauling tile, laying sod, cooking at the family restaurant, along with raising a family. For years she worked at one of the local grocery stores in the meat room in Fairfax until retirement. After this, she did some home assembly work to keep her busy.  Rosemary was a loving mother and wife. They shared 53 years of marriage when Jerry passed away on August 1, 2014.

Rosemary was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax.

Rosemary enjoyed fishing for many years with Jerry, flowers, birds, pets, cooking, trips to the casino, BINGO, shopping and buying anything on sale, hosting family and friends, and playing cards. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

Rosemary passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm at the age of 78 years. Blessed be her memory.
