Roswitha “Tasha” Wendlandt, wife of Brent, age 44, of rural Brownton passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winthrop with interment in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Penn Township, McLeod County, Minnesota.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021, from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winthrop and will continue one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Obituary
Roswitha “Tasha” Nicole Wendlandt was born on August 7, 1977, in LoFollette, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Arvill and Roswitha (Erhardt) Tidwell. Tasha was baptized as a youth and was later confirmed in her faith as an adult at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winthrop. She received her education in LaFollette, Tennessee, and was a graduate of Campbell High School.
On April 12, 2008, Tasha was united in marriage to Brent Wendlandt at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winthrop. After their marriage, the couple resided in rural Brownton. They were blessed with two children, Christopher and Sapphire. She was employed as the custodian at Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop. Tasha was a loving mother and homemaker. Tasha and Brent shared 13 years of marriage.
Tasha was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winthrop and the Ladies Guild.
Tasha enjoyed cooking for family and friends, delivering food and making Christmas cookies. She cherished the time she spent playing video games with her children.
Tasha passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Glencoe Regional Health Services at the age of 44 years. Blessed be her memory.

Brother-in-law, Timothy Wendlandt and his wife, Marla of Hutchinson, MN;
Sisters-in-law, Vicki Frauendienst and her husband, Randy of Nicollet, MN, and Wendy Wessel and her husband, Bill of Sauk Centre, MN;
Aunt, Gloria Mielke of Glencoe, MN;
Uncle, Paul and Diana Meyer of Gaylord, MN;
Nieces, Staci (William) Boone, Carlie and Kara Tidwell;
Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Tasha was preceded in death by her Parents, Arvill and Roswitha Tidwell; Mother-in-law, Ruth Anne Wendlandt; Sisters, Tina Tidwell and Judy Tidwell; Nieces, Brianna Tidwell and Casey Tidwell; Nephew, Thomas “Gismo” Tidwell.
