Service Information
Roy Strasmann, age 72, of Lester Prairie, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Immanual Lutheran Church, Acoma Township, with interment in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are with the Dobratz-Hantge Chapel in Hutchinson.
Obituary
Roy Henry Strasmann was born on June 10, 1946, to William and Lillian, at the Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson, MN. He was baptized at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Acoma Township and graduated from Hutchinson High School.
Roy was united in marriage to Karen Mary Miller on July 10, 1965 in Brookings, SD. They made their home in Lester Prairie, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with two boys, Thomas and Todd. Roy was employed at Super Valu Corporation in Hopkins, Minnesota, where he worked for more than 30 years.
Roy enjoyed trap shooting and watching Minnesota sports teams. He was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan.

Roy is survived by his:
Sons, Thomas Strasmann and his wife, Elise, of Irene, South Dakota,
Todd Strasmann, of Norwood Young America, Minnesota.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian Strasmann, his wife, Karen and beloved dog Shade.
