Ruben Caballero Martinez, 84, of Lester Prairie, Minnesota, died on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 22, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment following at the Lester Prairie City Cemetery in Lester Prairie, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Lester Prairie, Minnesota. Rosary will be at 5:30 P.M.
Obituary
Ruben Caballero Martinez was born on July 12, 1933, in Los Fierros, Tarimoro, Gto., Mexico to Rafael Caballero and Mariade Jesus Martinez. On June 12, 1954, Ruben was united in marriage to Eligia Perez Vega in Tarimoro, Gto., Mexico. Ruben and Eligia made their home in Mexico and Lester Prairie, MN. Their marriage was blessed with seven children, Catalina, Tarcisio, Agueda, Brigida, Patricia, Elena and Jorge. Ruben and Eligia shared over 63 years of marriage.
Ruben was a farmer. He was a member of Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe, Minnesota. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Ruben passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 5 days.
