Oh Sergio how I’ll temporarily miss that wonderful smile! I’m thankful for the time we had this summer to reconnect. The last words you told me were thanking me for helping you in school and for caring! I did care and hope others remember your kindness. Thank you for trusting me, this is never how I wanted your life to end but may you be happy and peaceful in your new home! Always in my heart, Mrs Carol Silus

Lizbeth and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I was Sergio’s bus driver many years ago and he was the most respectful young man who was always happy. He would go out of his way to talk to me and share what he was excited about, whenever he would run into me… He will always hold a very special place in my ? My heart aches for all of you. May you find comfort in all your memories of him in the days ahead. I will never forget Sergio. Prayers for strength and comfort for you all, Sharon Midtling

I’m heartbroken tonight at hearing this news. I was one of Sergio’s teachers at GSL high school and I had a really great rapport with him and thoroughly enjoyed having him in class. He could be disruptive at times, but in a happy playful way and was never disrespectful to me. I’m so saddened to hear of his passing. I will be praying for his family and friends to feel God’s peace and comfort.

I am so sorry to learn that Sergio is gone. Sergio had an energy and personality that made him unforgettable. I had Sergio in class at GSL. He always added some excitement and curiosity to the classroom- never a dull moment if Sergio was around. He had a big smile and a fun sense of humor. I remember him being so proud to be in wrestling. Sending hugs and prayers to the family and friends.
