Service Information
Sharon D. Hanson, age 78, of Dassel, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Dassel Lakeside Healthcare Center.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Lutheran Church in Darwin with interment in Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at All Saints Lutheran Church.
Obituary
Sharon Dixie Hanson was born on July 25, 1943, in Litchfield, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Albert Gordon and Muriel Evelyn Johnson. Sharon was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Dassel and was a graduate with the Dassel-Cokato High School class of 1961.
On June 3, 1961, Sharon was united in marriage to Leo Hanson at All Saints Lutheran Church in Darwin. This marriage was blessed with two children, Dixie and Allen. Sharon and Leo made their home in the Darwin areas since 1964. Sharon and Leo shared 54 years of marriage until the passing of Leo on May 6, 2016.
Sharon was a loving homemaker and employed at Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing in Hutchinson for 37 years.
She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and hockey. Sharon was a private person, devoted to her family and grandchildren.
Sharon passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Dassel Lakeside Healthcare Center, at the age of 78 years.

Son, Allen Hanson and his wife, Melanie, of Dassel, MN;
Grandchildren, Zada Hanson and Gavin Hanson;
Siblings, Jody Cates of Cokato, MN,
Keith Johnson of Minneapolis, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.
Sharon is preceded in death by her Parents, Albert and Muriel Johnson; Daughter, Dixie Hanson; Siblings, Connie Wolff, LaVonne Rosenow, Joanne Dougherty, Lloyd Johnson.
