A short time after Shawn moved to Hutchinson I was in Walmart and he and his friends were there too. Shawn took one look at me and said I know that lady, came over and gave me a sweet hug. He had the biggest smile, guess because he knew some one. He knew me because we used to go to Christ Lutheran too. My sympathy to all, he had a great personally, thanks to his parents.

Shawn was such a pure spirit and he enjoyed life. He loved going to football games, biking, bowling and sliding down the hill at Green Lake. We had the privilege to go on trips and camp with him. One of the most memorable times was worshipping on Good Friday and seeing how truly sorrowful he was and then to see his joy at Easter morning. We love how his words spilled over when he was happy to see you. We loved how he called Sue “Shoe”. We will miss not seeing him this summer but are truly blessed to have known him.
