Sherri Schlueter

Obituary

Sherri Beth Schlueter was born on July 20, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa.  She was the daughter of  Norman and Jeanette (DuHoux) Ellestad. Sherri was baptized on June 23, 1957, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Olivia, Minnesota, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 25, 1971, by Pastor Burdette Benson at the Cross of Calvary Church in Olivia.  She received her education in Olivia and received her diploma in May of 2000.        

On June 11, 1983,  Sherri was united in marriage to Daniel Schlueter at the Cross of Calvary Lutheran Church in Olivia. After their marriage, the couple made their home first in Silver Lake, MN, and then Sumter Township. Sherri was blessed with four children, Amber Jo, Danny, Timothy, and Patrick. Sherri and Dan shared 38 years of marriage.

Sherri was a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, relaxing while watching a little tv, and sipping on Dr. Pepper. Sherri cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.      

Sherri passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 66 years old.

Brothers-in-law, John Schlueter of Howard Lake, Michael Dudek;
Sisters-in-law, Anne Marie LeClaire and her husband, David of Hutchinson, MN, Julie Quast and her husband, Terry of Hutchinson, MN, Carol Schlueter of Hutchinson, MN.

Sherri was preceded in death by her Parents, Norman and Jeanette Ellestad; Sister-in-law, Rosemary Dudek.
