Shirley Ann Becker, age 79, of Fairfax passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at her home in Fairfax.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 9, 2020, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 9, 2020, from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
Obituary
Shirley Ann Becker was born on September 10, 1940, in Cairo Township, Renville County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Elmer and Viola (Grams) Schroeder. Shirley was baptized as an infant on September 14, 1940, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 11, 1954, both at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. She received her education at St. John Lutheran Elementary School and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1958.
On June 23, 1961, Shirley was united in marriage to Roger Becker at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. After their marriage, the couple resided in Fairfax. This marriage was blessed with four children. She was a loving homemaker and mother. She was employed by ADC and Dr. Brown in Fairfax. Shirley and Roger shared 59 years of marriage.
Shirley was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax and the Ladies Aid.
Shirley enjoyed her pets, Nikki and Maddie; crocheting, sewing, making T-shirt pillows, doilies and bells, gardening, and taking care of the farm animals. She was the best grandma; she loved her grandchildren more than anything. She cherished the time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family.
Shirley passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at her home in Fairfax at the age of 79 years. Blessed be her memory.

Great-grandchildren, Dalton and Rhett Geib, Cameron and Avery Noble, Dominic and Ameilyah Peart, Isaac and Ethan Havemeier, soon to be, Chase Zitzmann and baby girl Noble;

Sisters-in-law, Rosemarie (Eddie) Garrahy, Loni (Earnie) Ahrens, Jodi (Dennis) Lund, and Cindy Laframboise;

Shirley was preceded in death by her Parents, Elmer and Viola Schroeder, LaVerna Schroeder; Son-in-law, Michael Drill; Mother-in-law, Rose Laframboise and Father-in-law, Clarence Becker.
