Stanley Anderson, age 83, of Gaylord passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Society in Winthrop.
Private Family Memorial Service will be held with interment in the Gaylord City Cemetery.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Obituary
Stanley George Anderson was born on August 15, 1937, in Lake Benton, Minnesota. He was the son of George and Lilas (Nordmeyer) Anderson. Stan was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth. He received his education in Lynd, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Lynd High School Class of 1953.
On January 28, 1961, Stan was united in marriage to RoseMary LeBrun at the Little Brown Church in Vail, Iowa. After their marriage, the couple resided in Gaylord. Stan was employed as the manager and service for Lakes Gas. Stan and RoseMary were blessed with two sons. The couple shared 49 years of marriage when RoseMary passed away on December 30, 2010.
Stan enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching TV and bowling. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Stan passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Society in Winthrop at the age of 83 years. Blessed be his memory.

Sons, Todd (Judy) Anderson of New Auburn, MN, and
Troy (Therese) Anderson of St. Cloud, MN;
Grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson and her special friend, Dan, Josh (Alana) Anderson, and Brooke (Adam) Rupp;
Great-Grandchildren, Zachary Jr., Mason and Gannon Todd, Braedon, Brooklyn and Blakely Anderson;
Sister, Arlene Schafer of Poway, CA;
Niece, Denise Schafer of Poway, CA;
Many other relatives and friends.
Stan was preceded in death by his Parents, George and Lilas Anderson; Wife, RoseMary Anderson; Brother-in-law, Dennis Schafer and Nephew, Steven Schafer.
