I am so sorry to hear about Stephanie’s passing. I will always remember her smile and her infectious laughter. I know she has battled courageously these past years; But I’m sure there is comfort on some level knowing she is now pain free and living in heavenly peace. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Hoikka’s and your extended family. May your happy memories of Steph comfort you and raise you up during difficult times.

Steph will always be remembered by me and my family as one of a trio of managers for the Hutchinson Wrestling team when we first moved to Hutch. She was a leader for the team working endlessly to perform multiple tasks needed for a program to be successful. She was cheerful and directed, at times directing me! I will always remember your thoughtful contribution and diligence to help me and our teams.

    Dear Hoikka Family,
Sorry to hear about Stephanie passing away. When we moved here in 1988, she babysat for us and the kids loved her. She was very brave to take on four kids 6 years old and under!
Pat and Jerry, you have our deepest sympathy. Take comfort in knowing her suffering is over and she is at peace.
    Sincerely,
    David and Amy Larson

Steph was a wonderful friend and just a great person—caring, considerate and funny. Always loved to be around people/in the action. It won’t be the same without her. Thoughts and prayer with you all.

Dave and I want to express our sympathy at the loss of your daughter Stephanie remembering the fun time we had with her in Arizona and how Dave got her to laugh at his silly jokes and teasing. She was much loved and will be missed.
