Service Information

Steven J. Urban, age 60, of Biscay, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his home in Biscay.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson with interment in the church cemetery.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Obituary

Steven James Urban was born on February 23, 1962, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of James and Juanita (Stein) Urban. Steven was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson. He attended St. Anastasia Catholic School and then transferred to Hutchinson High School, and was a graduate with the class of 1981. He furthered his education at Hutchinson Area Technical School to become a machinist.

Steven was employed at Liquibox in Lester Prairie, Minnesota and Mraz Tooling in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was a member of the McLeod County Crow River Sno Pro’s club. Steven was also a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church.

Steven enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, farming, and working in his garden. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Steven passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his home in Biscay, at the age of 60 years.

Steven is survived by his:
Siblings, Thomas Urban and his wife, Kathy of Biscay, MN,
Deb Nowak and her husband, Jim of Silver Lake, MN;
Sister-in-law, Jessica Urban of rural Glencoe, MN;
Nieces and Nephews, Bradley Nowak and his fiancée, Amanda Komer and his children, Aiden and Ethan Nowak, Kevin and Brittany Nowak and their daughter, Logan Nowak, Jason and Krystle Urban and their children, James and Hadley Urban, Tricia Urban and Chris Hagman, Kimberly Urban and her son, Liam, Katrina Urban and her special friend, Ryan Bacon, Erika Urban;
Godparents, Ron and Dorothy Karels;
Many other relatives and friends.

Steven is preceded in death by his Parents, James and Juanita Urban; Brother, Raymond Urban; Nephew, Justin Nowak; Grandparents, Jack and Katherine Stein, Jerry and Agnes Urban; Step-grandfather, Fred Radunz.
