Teresa Gentry, age 54, of Gaylord passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Gaylord.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 1:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord.
Obituary
Teresa Marie Gentry was born on July 10, 1968, in Austin, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Jerry and Rose (Swenson) Hall. Teresa was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She received her education in Austin, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Austin High School Class of 1986. She furthered her education on Missoula Technical College for surgical tech. She resided in Austin, Mankato and prior to moving to Gaylord, Belle Plaine. She was employed as a surgical tech for Mayo Clinic in Mankato.
Teresa enjoyed traveling, walking, was a Stephen King nut and reading to her granddaughter. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her granddaughter.
Teresa passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Gaylord at the age of 54 years. Blessed be her memory.
Teresa is survived by her:
Children, Jeremiah Gentry of Eden Prairie, MN, and
Rebecca Gentry of Gaylord, MN;
Granddaughter, Nova Fisher of Gaylord, MN;
Mother, Rose Avery of Austin, MN;
Father, Jerry Hall of Kirkwood, IL;
Brothers, Richard Hall and his partner, Joel Zinnel of Phoenix, AZ, and Trent Goertz of Blooming Prairie, MN;
Other relatives and friends.
Teresa was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Step-dad, Frank Goertz.

Teresa was one of a kind. She had a big heart and touched many lives. You always knew what was on her mind and what she thought. I will miss out candid talks and her excitement for life and her family. I thought she had enough fire and determinations to live forever. She will be truly missed.
