Teresa M. Thrasher

Obituary

Teresa Marie Thrasher was born on July 28, 1957, in Okinawa Island, Japan. She was the daughter of John Joseph and Lilly Estelle (Lawson) Greene. Teresa was baptized as an infant in the Catholic Faith, and was later baptized again as a teenager, after joining the Baptist Church. She received her education in Mobile, Alabama, and was a graduate of the Murphy High School Class of 1975. She continued her education at Ridgewater College in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

On June 3, 1983, Teresa was united in marriage to Richard Thrasher in Mobile, Alabama. This marriage was blessed with three children, Laura, Tabitha and David. Teresa and Richard resided in, Mobile, Alabama, Denver, Colorado, and Stewart, Minnesota. They then made their home in Green Isle, Minnesota. Teresa and Richard shared 35 years of marriage.

Teresa was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of Hunters Ridge Community Church, where she enjoyed sharing her talent of playing the piano.

Teresa enjoyed playing the piano and restoring old photos in Photoshop. She also loved to travel, especially to Panama City Beach, Florida. Teresa cherished time spent with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Teresa passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019, at her home in Green Isle, at the age of 61 years.

David Thrasher and his fiancée, Kelly Meehan, of Raleigh, NC;
Grandchildren, Joseph Wilmert, Maverick Thrasher, and soon to arrive, Baby Robert;
Sister, Jane Ricks of Andalusia, AL;
Many other relatives and friends.

Teresa is preceded in death by her Parents, Joseph and Lilly Greene; Half Brother, S. Joseph Flammia.
