Theresa A. Schafer, age 63, of Stewart, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at 2:30 P.M., at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, Minnesota, with interment in Zion Evangelical Cemetery in Preston Lake Township, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 P.M. at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel.
Obituary
Theresa Ann Schafer was born on September 6, 1958, in Olivia, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Marlo and Genevie (Rath) Leske. Theresa was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth at Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. She received her education in Buffalo Lake and was a graduate of the Buffalo Lake High School Class of 1977. Theresa furthered her education at Hutchinson Area Vocational Technical Institute, earning her Associates Degree in Accounting.
Theresa was blessed with two sons, Steven and Justin.
Theresa was employed as a Billing Specialist for Form-A-Feed in Stewart, Minnesota. Theresa was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Lake. She was also an active volunteer and coordinator with Relay for Life for over ten years.
Theresa enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, cooking, and going to the casinos. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Theresa passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 63 years.

Theresa is preceded in death by her Father, Marlo Leske; Aunts, Janice Hlavka, Alice Osland; Uncle, Lee Bass.
