We are sure that he is in heaven with a smile on his face. So many good times we enjoyed with Tom and Judy at lake Alexander water skiing , playing pie tag, mud man, hockey…. We will all miss him but never forget the big foot print he has left and so many great memories we all have of this great gentleman.

Tom was a man full of love, generosity and service to others! His life revolved around you Judy, and the beautiful children you raised together and of course the grandchildren they have blessed you with! He always had a twinkle in his eye and exuded such joy and optimism! I always attributed this to his strong dependence on God in his life! He was an amazing dentist who truly cared about the welfare of his patients! Judy, this will be a time of grief and adjustments but know that our arms are around you and we hold you in our hearts!? Tom is watching out for you and those awesome children will be there for you too! If there is anything I can do for you please let me know! Were it not for the pandemic we would be celebrating his life with you and your family at Church! God definitely has plans for us that we do not choose! Cry as often as needed! God gave us tears to wash away the pain if only for a few minutes! We will keep in touch electronically and by old fashioned mail! I will always want to know how you are doing my dear friend! Get rest, rely on others to help you and trust in God’s everlasting love for you!

I went to school with Tom and considered him a very, good guy. At our 50th class reunion, I did have a chance to talk with him. That time will always be with me and I will never forget him. The class of 68 sends their condolences and prayers to Judy and the entire Schoeneberger family.

Judy and family – you are in our thoughts and prayers. Tom was a wonderful person and classmate at St. Henry’s Catholic School and Perham High School. We visited with him at his lake home on Big Pine and even drove by his lake place on Tuesday the 20th. We were thinking about him and wanted to send him prayers. He will be missed. May you hold all your memories deep in your heart. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. May Tom rest in peace. PHS Class of 1968 – Alana Herrmann and Gordy Dulski – Perham, MN

    Judy and Family,
Tom and I were best mates in school, as young men, sharing our most personal fears and loves, life’s big decisions, lots of class lecture notes. Tom was loving and kind ,always trying to keep the world loving him and each other, worrying about everything and everybody, huge smile ,loved a joke . We spent our extra energy trying to beat the hell out of each other on a hot tennis court.
We went our separate ways as geography and life can do to people in your life, I never stopped thinking of Tom. So sad to hear about dementia as I have watched a sister and father be lost in the fog and be gone. Rest in PEACE Berger…. thanks for making D school a good time and sharing your life with me. So sorry to hear of Tom. My sincere sympathy to all in the Schoeneberger family. Family friend. Knew Tom in grade school and high school. Served mass and played sand yard baseball with Tom. Wonderful, humble man, a blessing from the Lord to have Tom be in our life time. Can see him now serving at the altar of the Lord, smiling, and and loving all of us. Thank you, Lord, for sharing Tom as a gift to us in our journey through this life.
