Obituary

Thomas “Tom” George Feltmann was born on December 16, 1942, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of George and Lenora (Schilling) Feltmann. Tom was baptized as an infant on January 3, 1943, by Pastor H.R. Burkett and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on March 25, 1956, by Pastor Walter Fischer, both at the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Lester Prairie. He received his education in Silver Lake from 1948-1952, then District #5 in Lester Prairie from 1952-1954, and then District #424 in Lester Prairie, and was a graduate of the Lester Prairie High School Class of 1960.  Throughout High School, Tom enjoyed playing sports.

Tom served his country in the United States National Guard from 1961-1965.

On September 25, 1965, Tom was united in marriage to Annette Breyer by Pastor Wolfgang Webern at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and watching Minnesota sports, especially the Vikings and the Twins. Tom spent many weekends at their cabin retreat near Mille Lacs Lake for the last 30 years. Tom cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He went to many of his children and grandchildren’s events.

Feltmann family. So sorry to hear of Tommy’s passing. He was good friends with my dad and I remember fondly going out to his shop whenever we needed help fixing a small engine or buying a chainsaw.

May God bless y’all during this difficult time.

My condolences to the Feltmann family. Tom was always such a good friend to my dad Ray. I know they did a lot of fishing together and made many trips together to watch my grandchildren play sports. He was indeed one of the good guys.

Sincerest condolences go out to the entire Feltmann family.

I haven’t seen your dad in a number of years, but when I hear/read his name, it instantly takes me back to “Tommy’s Shop.” Growing up, my brothers, Dad & I usually cut firewood this time of year, but not before taking the chainsaws out to your Dad for a little TLC first! Good childhood memories.

Take care, and our thoughts are with you.
