Veloris Ann Norgaard, age 83, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Hutchinson Health Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. Interment will be held in the Oakland Cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017, from 4:30 to 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 8:00 to 9:00 A.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Veloris Ann Norgaard was born February 12, 1934, in rural Fairhaven, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Fred and Flora (Fischer) Muehring. Veloris was baptized as an infant on March 4, 1934, and later confirmed in her faith both at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church of Fairhaven. Veloris attended Elementary School in Fairhaven for 8 years and was a graduate of Kimball High School class of 1952. Veloris worked for Cargill Inc. in Minneapolis for 5 years.
On June 29, 1957, Veloris was united in marriage to Deloy Norgaard in Fairhaven. This marriage was blessed with two children, Sandra and Gary. Del and Veloris resided in Hutchinson. They shared 55 years of marriage until Del passed away in 2013.
Veloris was a seamstress and sewed for many people in her home. She enjoyed making her own and children’s clothing. She even made her own wedding dress. She also enjoyed needlework, reading, and traveling. Veloris was known for making the best potato salad. She especially cherished the time she spent with her family, grandchildren, and friends.
Veloris passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Hutchinson Health Hospital, at the age of 83 years.

Sister-In-Law, Bonnie Muehring of Minneapolis, MN,
Many Nieces, Nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Veloris is preceded in death by her Parents, Fred and Flora Muehring; Step Mother, Blancha Muehring; Husband, Deloy Norgaard; Brothers, Walter Muehring, Marvin Muehring, and Willard Muehring; Brother-In-Law, Carl Walberg; and Sisters-In-Law, Judy Muehring and Lois Muehring.
