Veril Dale Peterson, age 80 of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Hutchinson Health.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are with the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson.
Obituary
Veril Dale Peterson was born on March 22, 1937, in Park Rapids, Minnesota. He was the son of Arthur “Art” and Bernice (Hokanson) Peterson. Veril was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith. He was raised in Park Rapids and Hutchinson with his five brothers and one sister.
On July 29, 1989, Veril was united in marriage to Sharon Johnson. Veril and Sharon made their home in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Three years ago, they moved back to the Hutchinson area.
Veril was an avid hunter and enjoyed tinkering in his garage. He especially loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends.
Veril fought a long battle of Pancreatic Cancer. He passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Hutchinson Health Hospital in Hutchinson, Minnesota, at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 18 days. He will be deeply missed by his wife Sharon and his twelve children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Blessed be his memory.
