Virginia A. Langmo, age 92, of Litchfield, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at The Meadows Senior Living in Savage, Minnesota.

Obituary

Virginia “Ginny” Ann Langmo was born on March 19, 1933, in St. Peter, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Clifford and Marjorie (Wolfe) Swenson. Virgina was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith. She received her education in St. Peter and was a graduate of the St. Peter High School class of 1951. Virginia furthered her education by taking Certified Nursing Assistant classes.

On March 7, 1953, Ginny was united in marriage to Kenneth at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter. This marriage was blessed with six children, Debbie, Linda, Larry, Patti, Pamela, and Mark. Virginia and Kenneth “Ginny” resided in St. Peter, Darwin, Grove City, Bird Island, and Litchfield, Minnesota. They shared 66 years of marriage until Kenneth passed away on November 12, 2019.

Virginia was employed as a Nurse’s Aide at Litchfield Nursing Home. She retired in 1995.

Virginia enjoyed bowling, sewing, gardening and going for walks. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at The Meadows Senior Living in Savage, Minnesota, at the age of 92 years.

Pamela Ellwanger and her husband, Bill, of La Feria, TX,
Mark Langmo and his wife, Nan, of Kindred, ND;
Grandchildren, Sadi Seaman and her husband, Randy of Belle Plaine, MN,
Jason Langmo and his wife, Katie, of Lakeside, CA,
Samantha Langmo and her fiancé, Gary Danielson, of Shakopee, MN,
Jared Laidlaw and his wife Hannah, of Litchfield, MN,
Steven Langmo of Allentown, PA;
Great-grandchildren, Zachary Langmo, Brynleigh Langmo, Aubrey Danielson, Soren Danielson, Parker Laidlaw, Aliza Laidlaw, Brandon Arvidson, Aksel Hansen, and Breck, Lundon and McCoy Barrick;
Many other relatives and friends.

Virginia is preceded in death by her Parents, Clifford and Marjorie Swenson; Husband, Kenneth Langmo; Daughter, Debbie Langmo; Sister, Violet Sawyer; and Brother, Gerald “Punch” Swenson.

    She always made us feel welcome when we came up for summer vacation. Like part of the family.
