William “Bill” F. Heuer, age 62, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his home in Glencoe.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, 1:00 P.M., at Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment following in the Christ Lutheran Church Columbarium.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
William “Bill” Fredrick Heuer was born on November 14, 1961, in Long Prairie, Minnesota. He was the son of James and Patricia (Hamann) Heuer. Bill was baptized as an infant in December of 1961, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie, and was later confirmed in his youth in Wadena, Minnesota. He received his education in Wadena, Minnesota, and received his GED.
On September 25, 1984, Bill was united in marriage to Debra “Debbie” Butcher in Wadena, Minnesota. Following their marriage, the couple resided in Glencoe. They most recently celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary. Bill and Debbie were blessed with two children, Cassandra and Christopher. Bill was employed at 3M in Hutchinson, MN, for 5 years, and retired in 2023.
Bill was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe.
Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, and gardening. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin and watching the grandchildren play sports. Bill was known as a very social person; he enjoyed chatting it up with friends and strangers alike. Bill loved listening to music, especially old-time country music, which included his favorite, Reba McEntire. He and his wife, Debbie, were a part of the VIP security team at Winstock for 27 years. Debbie mentioned that she was there to work “security” and Bill was there specifically to socialize. He cherished the time spent with his family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Bill passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his home in Glencoe at the age of 62 years. Blessed be his memory.

Father, James Heuer Sr. of Howard Lake, MN;
Siblings, James (Patty) Heuer Jr., Carey (Missy) Heuer, Patrick (Michelle) Heuer;
Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, Steve (Julie) Butcher, Bob (Cindy) Butcher, and Sandra Butcher;
Aunt, Barbara Abrahamson;
Niece, Sandra Abrahamson-Wright;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his Mother, Patricia Heuer; Step-Mother, Betty Heuer; Grandparents, William and Marjorie Hamann and William and Selma Heuer; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Lester and Marvel Butcher; Brother-in-law, Stanley Butcher.

It was a real shock when my brother Jim called to inform me that his son Bill had died. My sincere condolences to you and your whole family. It was nice to read in the obituary of all the children and grand children you and Bill have and what a blessing they are, especially at this time.
I will be unable to attend the funeral, however I will be with you in thought and prayer.
