Douglas C. Hoseck, age 92, of Hector, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Olivia Hospital and Clinic, in Olivia, Minnesota.

Uncle Doug was a big part of our lives here in Cedar Valley. He and Bud kept their horses here for a time and were partners in the horse racing business at Canterbury Downs for a number of years, I know they both loved that! Doug was an avid hunter here at the farm in Cedar Valley and was always pretty lucky at bagging a turkey, a deer, not so much!!! We had many memorable family reunions together throughout Minnesota with lots of fun and games and FOOD!!! Tom and Keri thought so much of you too.
Doug is now in heaven with his lovely wife Ruthe, his brothers and sisters and his friend Dave, along with others who have gone before. We’ll miss your annual hunting visits Doug, and I know Bruce will miss the many conversations you two had over the phone(especially about the weather!!!). You were the last of that generation, so now it’s up to us to carry on the traditions. Thanks for being such a special part of our lives, you will be missed.
