Service Information
Lynn M. Martin, age 71, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, formerly of Cosmos, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Cokato Manor in Cokato, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookfield Township, rural Hector, Minnesota, with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hector and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Lynn Meri Martin was born on December 25, 1954, in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Loren and Lavaughn (Platzer) Stockman. Lynn was baptized as an infant, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth in Plato, Minnesota. She received her education in Glencoe, and was a graduate of the Glencoe High School Class of 1973. Lynn furthered her education and earned her license as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
On August 25, 2023, Lynn was united in marriage to David Martin at Anderson Gardens in Litchfield, Minnesota.
Lynn was employed as a Trained Medication Aid. She retired in 2022.
Lynn enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was an incredible cook and baker. She especially enjoyed spending time with David, her family, grandchildren and friends.
Lynn passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Cokato Manor in Cokato, Minnesota, at the age of 71 years.

Lynn is preceded in death by her Mother, Lavaughn Stockman; and Husband, David Martin.
