Adam M. Dummer, age 39, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Obituary
Adam Matthew Dummer was born on February 16, 1985, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Randy and Karen (Wegner) Dummer. Adam was baptized as an infant at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. He received his education in Hutchinson, and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 2003.
Adam lived in the Aveyron Home in Hutchinson for 30 years. He enjoyed good food, going out for walks, and spending time with his family and friends.
Adam passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson, at the age of 39 years.

Father, Randy Dummer of Grove City, MN;
Brother, Aaron Dummer of Hutchinson, MN;
Caregiver, Marisol Maney of Hutchinson, MN;
Grandmother, Leona Wegner of Hutchinson, MN;
Uncles, Neil Wegner and his wife, Mary of Hutchinson, MN,
Trent Wegner and his wife, Sara of Hutchinson, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.
Adam is preceded in death by his Mother, Karen Dummer; Grandfather, Roland Wegner; Aunt, Diane Menth.

I’m not convinced the specialists ever had a full understanding of Adam’s “syndrome”, but he certainly outlived their expectations!! Due to his multiple health issues, he was always a challenge – but could show happiness with his smile or by getting excited by touching your face. Even though he could not express himself in the standard ways, it’s nice to know that love and happiness was inside that body.
