Anita Moudry, age 67 of Hutchinson, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017, at the Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 28, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with interment in the Lake Lillian Community Cemetery.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Obituary
Anita A. Moudry was born on August 10, 1949, in Willmar, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Alvin and Evelyn (Preslicka) Kaiser. Anita was baptized as an infant, and was later confirmed in her youth at First Lutheran Church in Lake Lillian, Minnesota. She received her education in Atwater, Minnesota and was a graduate of the Atwater High School Class of 1967. Anita furthered her education by attending Hutchinson Vocational School in the Administrative Assistant course and attended psychology classes for a short time at Crown College in St. Bonifacius.
Anita was blessed with three children, Dawn, Lisa and Shannon. Anita resided in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She held employment as a daycare provider since the 1980’s and spent her life caring for children.
Anita loved Jesus with all her heart. She served as a Sunday School teacher and participated in many Bible studies throughout her life. She also volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, helped with the Nutrition for the Elderly program, and worked as a chemical dependency counselor.
Anita enjoyed taking long walks, and gardening. She also canned the fruits of her labor, and was an expert sauerkraut maker. Anita loved baking, cooking, putting puzzles together, singing, crafts, and taking photographs of her family. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
When Anita needed assistance with her daily cares, she became a resident of the Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson Minnesota on April 19, 2017. She passed away there on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at the age of 67 years.

Lisa Dawn Walstad of Hutchinson, MN,
Shannon Dee Moudry of Hutchinson, MN;
14 Grandchildren;
15 Great Grandchildren;
Brother, Elvin “Ed” Kaiser and his wife, Diane of Forest Lake, MN;
Sister, Bonita “Boni” Schanil and her husband, Jerome of Hutchinson, MN;
Nieces, Nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Evelyn Kaiser; brother, in infancy, Robert Raymond Kaiser; sister, baby Girl Kaiser; nephew, Darren Kaiser and his wife, Heather.
