Beatrice Trout, age 85, of Gaylord passed away Friday, May 15, 2020, at Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Gaylord.
Obituary
Beatrice Mildred Trout was born on December 22, 1934, in Dryden Township, Sibley County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Orville and Dorothy (Woller) Wendorff. Beatrice was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education through the 11th grade.
On June 17, 1953, Beatrice was united in marriage to Reuben Trout at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. After their marriage, the couple resided in rural Gaylord and farmed in Transit Township. This union was blessed with two sons, Alan and Daniel. Reuben and Beatrice shared 60 years of marriage when Reuben passed away on January 9, 2014.
Beatrice was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gaylord. In her younger years, she taught Sunday School and served as housekeeper.
Beatrice enjoyed Bingo, cards, canning vegetables, gardening, and cooking-making sure all was fed. At Oak Terrace she enjoyed playing Bingo, solitaire and puzzles. Beatrice cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
When she needed assistance with her daily care, Beatrice became a resident of Oak Terrace Assisted Living and later Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord and passed away there on Friday, May 15, 2020, at the age of 85 years. Blessed be her memory.

Daniel Trout and his wife, Brenda of Gaylord, MN;
Grandchildren, Kacey Tollefson and her husband, Ben of Arlington, MN, Andrew Trout and his wife, Janaly of New Auburn, MN, Kasandra Mart and her husband, Tim of Mankato, MN, Alex Trout and his wife, Jessica of Hutchinson, MN, and Bethany Trout and significant other, Bill Thomes of Arlington, MN;
Great-Grandchildren, Izabel and Blake Trout, Dustin and Dylan Tollefson, Korali and Theo Mart, Carter Trout;
Siblings, Ila Mae Anderson, Cyrus Wendorff and special friend, Darlyne, Marlin (Susie) Wendorff, Karen Culbert, Jerry Wendorff and special friend, Mariann, Shelby Beseke, Cheryl Anderson, Althea (Larry) Teschendorf;
Sisters-In-Law, Eunice Trout of Gaylord, MN, and Carol Trout of Gaylord, MN;
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her Parents, Orville and Dorothy Wendorff; Husband, Reuben Trout; Sisters-in-law, Meta Doerr, Ruth Brown, Marie Stubblefield, Emma Stewart, and Emily Kranz; Brothers-in-law, Fred Trout, Alex Trout Rudolph “Rudy” Trout and Harvey Doerr.
