Betty Lou Wroge

Obituary

Betty Lou (Frahm) Wroge was born on August 17, 1946, in Glencoe, Minnesota.  She was the daughter of John and Malinda (Trick) Frahm Sr.  Betty was baptized as an infant on September 1, 1946, by Rev. Arndt and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth on June 12, 1960, by Rev. H. J. Malotky both at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Isle, Minnesota.  She received her education at the Green Isle Elementary School and the Arlington High School. 

On July 16, 1966, Betty was united in marriage to Donald Wroge by Rev. H. J. Malotky at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Isle.  Betty and Donald made their home in Glencoe, Minnesota.  They were blessed with three children, David, James and Dawn.  Betty and Donald shared over 50 years of marriage. 

In addition to being a loving wife, mother and homemaker, Betty worked at Telex and later started doing daycare.  She was a member at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe. 

First and foremost, Betty was a caregiver taking care of others and always wanted the best for everyone.  She enjoyed reading, embroidering, quilting, most recently adult coloring, and camping.  Betty treasured the time spent with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson. 

Betty passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017, doing what she loved, camping in Hutchinson, Minnesota, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 1 day.
