Obituary
Brandon Philip Malo was born on March 20, 1995, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Ronald and Candace (Buboltz) Malo. Brandon was baptized as an infant on May 7, 1995, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on April 17, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. He received his education in Buffalo Lake-Hector, and was a graduate of the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart High School Class of 2014.
Brandon resided in Grafton Township, rural Buffalo Lake.
Brandon was employed as a butcher for Hector Meat Market for several years and most recently, as a welder for Bobcat in Litchfield, Minnesota.
Brandon traveled extensively to Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, New York, Florida, Iceland, and Jamaica. He loved camping and sitting by the campfires, hunting, fishing, and grilling and smoking meats. Brandon enjoyed weight lifting, skydiving, snowmobiling, getting tattoos, guns, cars, especially his most beloved ’88 Mustang, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a “big teddy bear” that thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Binky, and cat, Puss.
Brandon passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota, at the age of 27 years. He was a giving and considerate man. Brandon was an organ, eye, and tissue donor, so his family finds comfort in knowing that he will live on in others.
Blessed be his memory.

We are so sadden by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to the entire family.
Brandon had such a beautiful and contagious smile and always took time to visit with me when we bumped into each other. He would ask about our family and Riley.
May God wrap his arms around you and Brandon.

Dearest Candy, Tom, Crystal, and all extended family members of Brandson’s~
You are constantly in my thoughts, perhaps because I know the pain and sadness you are feeling. There is so much I want to say, but I want to say it in person. I am planning to be with you on Sunday, so I will give you gentle hugs and we can talk then. In the meantime, you are in my thoughts, in my prayers, and on my heart. I hope you are finding some sleep, some peaceful moments, and some time to reflect on all your most precious memories of Brandon. I’m here for you Candy, any time…any time at all. Just call me and we can talk and cry together. Love you~

Candy and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. It was a pleasure to have Brandon in the classroom. We would be in the high school weight room together working out during the school year. Then we would see who could bench press the most. Of course, I could never lift as much as Brandon. I would see him at the Hector Meat Market, and he always had time to visit with me. Our sympathy to you.
