Brenda D. Gunner

Obituary

Brenda Diane Gunner was born on December 16, 1965, in Willmar, Minnesota. She was the daughter of ElRoy and Janet (Skare) Gunner. Brenda was baptized as an infant at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Atwater, Minnesota. She was a graduate of the Atwater High School Class of 1984. Brenda furthered her education at Ridgewater College in Hutchinson and received her Associates Degree and Registered Nurse License.

Brenda was blessed with four children, Brenton, Samantha, Jamie, and Jordan. She resided in Hutchinson for most of her adult life.

Brenda worked as a Registered Nurse at Burns Manor and Harmony River.

Brenda enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and gardening. She also loved taking her kids to their sporting events and camping with her children at Piepenburg Park in Minnesota.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Brenda passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, in Hutchinson, at the age of 51 years.

Sisters, Lynn Buisman and her husband, Corey of Atwater, MN;
             Sheila Startemyer and her husband, Erick of Shakopee, MN;
Parents, ElRoy and Janet Gunner of Hector, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.

Brenda is preceded in death by her Grandparents.
