Service Information
Bryan E. Goetsch, age 73, of Dassel, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Hutchinson Health Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 5, 2017, 10:30 A.M. at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson. Interment will be held in the Mound Cemetery in Ortonville, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Chapel.
Obituary
Bryan Ervin Goetsch was born on February 28, 1944, in Ortonville, Minnesota. He was the son of Ervin and Delores (Kohls) Goetsch. Bryan was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ortonville. He received his education in Nassau, Minnesota.
On September 5, 1964, Bryan was united in marriage to Marge Hopkins at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ortonville. This marriage was blessed with two children, Lori and Machele. Bryan and Marge resided in Dassel, Minnesota. They shared 53 years of marriage together.
Bryan worked at Hutch Manufacturing as a welder for 35 years. Bryan then worked as a janitor at the Cokato Elementary School until he retired in 2002, which he enjoyed very much. He also enjoyed farming for many years.
Bryan was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel.
Bryan enjoyed stock car racing, listening to music and playing computer games. He was an avid outdoorsmen, he loved pheasant, goose, deer hunting and fishing. He always had a golden lab for hunting. Bryan also liked playing the dice game Ten Thousand with his wife and grandkids and watching his grandkids play in their sports. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, friends, and extended racing family. RV camping was enjoyed by Bryan and Marge for many years.
Bryan passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Hutchinson Health Hospital in Hutchinson, at the age of 73 years.

Children, Lori Morris (David) of Cokato, MN,
Machele Goetsch (Marty Bush Jr.) of Litchfield, MN;
Grandchildren, Ryan, Devin, Zach and Blake;
Sisters-In-Law, Brothers-In-Law, Nieces, Nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Bryan is preceded in death by his Parents, Ervin and Delores Goetsch; Sister, Gayle Mielitz; and Brother-In-Law, Laverne Mielitz.

So sorry to hear of your loss. So many years have passed, but I still have some fond memories of spending time around Bryan and the rest of the Goetsch family during my childhood. Rest in peace Bryan, and to Marge, Machele, Lori, and the rest of the family I offer my condolences.
