Service Information
Carol L. Plombon, age 82, of Hutchinson, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson with interment in the Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, January 3 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and Wednesday, January 4th from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Chapel in Hutchinson and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
There will be a Rosary Service on Tuesday, January 3rd at 5:00 P.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Chapel.
Arrangements are with the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson.
Obituary
Carol Lucille (Domm) Plombon was born on January 23, 1924, in Wyndmere, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Walter and Alta (Nulph) Domm. Carol was baptized as an infant in the Lutheran faith and was later confirmed in her Catholic faith as a young adult. She received her high school education and then attended business school.
Carol made her home in Wahpeton, North Dakota, St. Cloud, Minnesota, and Hutchinson, Minnesota. Carol’s life was blessed with four children, Brenda, Bradley, Brian and Wayne.
In addition to being a loving mother and homemaker, Carol worked at Telex in Glencoe, Minnesota, and at the food shelf in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota and she was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 96 for 35 years.
Carol was a strong, independent woman that was very kind and caring to others. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for her wild rice stuffing. Carol also loved to help at the food shelf. She especially treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. In addition, Carol would never want us to forget her love for Tiger Woods.
Carol passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson at the age of 82 years.

Great Grandchildren, Amar, Natalia, Tristan, Tylee, Taelyn, Everleigh, Kolton;
Daughter-In-Law, Jody Plombon of Manassas, VA;
Sister-In-Law, Muriel Domm of Fargo, ND;
Many other relatives and friends.
Carol is preceded in death by her Parents, Walter and Alta Domm; Daughter, Brenda Plombon; Son, Brian Plombon; Sisters, Lois Strickland, Edna Erdman, Eileen Duncan; Brothers, Frank Domm, Robert Domm, Arnold Domm; Sisters-In-Law, Patty Domm, Helen Domm.

I worked with Carol at the McLeod County Food Shelf. I enjoyed her sense of humor and always enjoyed our talks about golf and politics. I extend my sympathy to her family.
