Carol O. Miller, age 79, of Paynesville, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Annandale Care Center in Annandale.
Private Family Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 21, 2026, 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Obituary
Carol Olga Miller was born on November 3, 1946, in Kimball, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Clarence and Ruth (Schill) Unterburger. Carol grew up in the Darwin, Minnesota area, and was a graduate of the Litchfield High School Class of 1964.
On February 13, 1965, Carol was united in marriage to Dale “Mouse” F. Miller at St. John’s Catholic Church in Darwin, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with two children, Craig and Marcie. Carol and Mouse resided in Darwin, and later moved to Aberdeen, South Dakota, in 1973. In 1976, Carol and Mouse made their home in Paynesville, Minnesota. They shared 61 years of marriage.
Carol was employed with Paynesville Area Schools as a Paraprofessional.
Carol passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Annandale Care Center in Annandale, Minnesota, at the age of 79 years.

Great-grandchild, Vivian Meiners;
Siblings, Kathy, Jeanette, Theresa, Ralph, Duane, Dave, Joyce, Mary, Barb, Rita, Betty;
Many other relatives and friends.
Carol is preceded in death by her Parents, Clarence and Ruth Unterburger; Brothers, Donald Unterburger, Jeff Unterburger; Sister, Linda Fuchs.
