Obituary
Carole was born to John and Marcille (Luebke) Jurisch on November 16, 1941, in Detroit, MI where she was also baptized. The family later moved to Hector, MN where Carole was confirmed in her faith at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in 1955 graduated from Hector High School in 1959.
Carole married her high school sweetheart, Ted Fox, on April 23, 1962. After their wedding, they moved to Petersburg, VA. From there they moved to Leesville, LA where she worked for the Vernon Parish School Board. Their daughter, Sandralyn, was born on April 12, 1963; and shortly thereafter they returned to Hector, MN. Carole worked for Production Credit and then the Hector bank for over 32 years. She was an active member of Palmyra Covenant Church.
Carole was a devoted mother and friend, spending most of her life caring for and putting others before herself…..with the exception of when you played cribbage against her! She was a woman of many talents including painting, needlepoint, quilting and gardening, taking pride in all she did. She also loved spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking for family and friends. She was most known for her delectable Christmas cookies, which she baked for the Hector Bank customer appreciation events for many years as well as for her famous baked beans which she was asked to bring to nearly every family event.
Carole was a woman full of kindness, laughter, and love. She is survived by her husband, Ted Fox; daughter Sandralyn Fox; siblings John (Corrine) Jurisch, Jr. of Rosemount, MN and Kathy (Terry) Ahlbrecht of Hector, MN and their families; brother-in-law Jim (Diana) Fox of Rapid City, SD and sister-in-law Su Fox of Wichita, KS and their families.
Carole was greeted in heaven by her parents John and Marcille Jurisch and infant daughter Andrea.
