Service Information
Charleen Reinke, age 75, of Gaylord passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center in Arlington.
Funeral Service will be Friday, March 31, 2017, 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with interment at a later date.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. Thursday. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorials preferred to Immanuel Lutheran School.
Obituary
Charleen MaryAnn (Spiering) Reinke was born on September 5, 1941, in Gaylord, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Herbert and Adella (Laabs) Spiering. Charleen was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. She received her education at Immanuel Lutheran School in Gaylord and was a graduate of the Gaylord High School. Charleen lived on the Spiering family farm most of her life.
On February 10, 1962, Charleen was united in marriage to Robert Reinke at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. This union was blessed with two children, John and Wanda.
Charleen enjoyed cooking at Immanuel Lutheran School. She worked as a PCA at the Heritage House in Gaylord from 1996-2003, when she retired. She was a loving mother, grandma and homemaker.
Charleen was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord, an active member of the Ladies Aid and LWML. She was involved in Home Extension and Sibley Country Cousins Group.
Charleen enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, traveling, farming, taking care of her poultry and gathering farm fresh eggs. She loved her cats. She enjoyed the fellowship at area activities and playing cards at the Forever Young Senior Center. Charleen cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Charleen passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center in Arlington at the age of 75 years. Blessed be her memory.

Children, Reverend Dr. John Reinke and his wife, Dacia of Deerfield, WI, and
Wanda Paine and her husband, Jeffrey of Gaylord, MN;
Grandchildren, Reverend Joshua Reinke and his wife, Tristin, and Joseph Reinke; Amanda Paine, William Paine, Rebecca Paine and her fiancé, Lucas Sing, and Thomas Paine;
Sister, Lavonne Sandersfeld of Williamsburg, IA;
Brothers-In-Law and Sisters-In-Law;
Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Charleen was preceded in death by her Grandson, Caleb Reinke; and Parents, Herbert and Adella Spiering.

It truly is a difficult thing when we see a loved one die no matter the relationship. Charleen is God’s child and a believer in Jesus Christ the son of God. I pray for the family while they grieve this difficult time in their lives. Thanks be to God by faith in Jesus Charleen will overcome and be resting at ease in our Heavenly Father’s Arms.
